Conference Parking Instructions

Parking instructions for Friday and Saturday are found below. In addition, the Iowa Academy of Science is arranging an on-campus parking option for registered IAS attendees. The option will be emailed to attendees in advance of the conference. IAS will collect the parking pass fee from attendees who select that option. Attendees choosing that option will receive parking instructions prior to the conference. The parking pass will be good only for the Friday sessions. Passes will not be required in the UNI on campus parking lots for the Saturday sessions.

Friday Parking

On-street parking is located in the residential areas generally north and east of the UNI campus. These areas are north of 23rd Street and east of College Street. The parking available is on one side of the street only and is marked by parking signs. Some of the parking is all day but areas close in may allow only 1 or 2 hours of on street parking during the day. Walking distance to campus will range from 5 to 15 minutes.

All parking areas on campus are regulated and require parking passes or using short term parking meters. The Iowa Academy of Science is arranging for parking passes for IAS attendees. We will be emailing registered attendees with an option to obtain a parking pass. There will be a $2.50 fee. After submitting your request you will receive an invoice by email within a couple of days and you will be able pay online directly from the email. The passes will either be a hang tag or a code. Passes will only be required for on campus parking on Friday.

Saturday Parking

Parking passes are not required for the Saturday sessions. You may park on campus or in the residential areas on Saturday. Please refer to the campus maps on this webpage for the locations of UNI parking areas.

No parking passes or codes are required for the UNI campus parking lots on Saturday. Please obey all parking signage.
