Staying for part or all of the IAS Annual Meeting?

An important part of the IJAS experience is the opportunity to attend a professional scientific conference. The Iowa Academy of Science invites IJAS students, teachers, parents or other accompanying adults to stay for part or all of the IAS Annual Meeting. The IJAS registration includes attending the IAS Annual Meeting.

Symposiums, Friday, 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.
Students are welcome to attend symposiums which begin at 2:30 p.m. Friday. Attendees may stay for an entire symposium or move from one to another. This is a good way to observe scientific presentations. Read about the symposiums and other Friday afternoon and evening IAS activities in the Advance Program Guide.

Senior Poster Session & Social Hour, Friday, 4:30 - 6:00 p.m.

Attend the Senior Poster session and Social Hour to view research poster presentations by faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students. The Social Hour is held with the poster presentations.
