Meals & Snacks at the IAS Annual Meeting
Conference meals are an important part of the IAS Annual Meeting. Join your colleagues and celebrate the achievements of Iowa science students, scientists, and science teachers by attending IAS meals. Attending the conference luncheons and banquet are a great way to discuss the events of the day and reconnect with conference attendees and speakers. Meals are convenient for attendees and allows us to utilize our meeting time more efficiently. Please select your meals when registering online or by mail. We cannot guarantee meals will be available for purchase after the Advance Registration Deadline. Complimentary Snacks are available during the conference.
Meal Costs
The Academy attempts to maintain a balance between providing excellent meals and holding costs down at the IAS Annual Meeting. The cost of meals includes the food, staffing and tableware. We hope the convenience of eating at the conference, the opportunity to meet with your colleagues, and the time made available for presentations is an attractive option for attendees. All IAS attendees are invited to attend the IJAS Poster Session and lunch. This is the first opportunity for many students to attend a professional meeting and meet Iowa scientists, science educators, graduate and undergraduate students. Your support of IJAS student research is much appreciated!
