The IAS Annual Meeting included 3 general sessions; “Iowans for Everest,” IPTV discussing the production of “Iowa Land and Sky”, and “The Evolution of the Modern Grid.” We also hosted two symposiums covering the current and future state of water quality in Iowa, and using Lego Robotics to gather research data, and two seminars; one for the IJAS students about undergraduate research, and on the Nepal Education Foundation. There were more than 190 total research presentations made by Iowa faculty, graduate, and undergraduate students, and middle and high school students in the Iowa Junior Academy of Science, Science Symposium. There were 330 attendees spread over the two day conference.
